C. David Pitzer, Sr., owner and founder of the Firm, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Nashville in December, 1974 and has over 35 years diversified experience in Public Accounting. His primary areas of expertise include tax preparation and planning, estate and inheritance tax preparation and planning, business valuations and small business planning. He serves on the Boards and Committees of various local organizations which include Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene as Treasurer and Board of Directors, Tennessee District Church of the Nazarene Advisory Board, Davidson Academy Board of Trustees, City of Goodlettsville Industrial Development Board and member of the Core Group for Economic Development, Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee and Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce Treasurer, Executive Board and Board of Directors. David is a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He and his wife, Teresa, have five children (Chip, Cheri, Amy, Carla, and Matthew) and reside in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Chip graduated from Beech High School with honors in 1989. He started working with the company in 1994. He has gained intensive knowledge of accounting, tax planning, and tax preparation through hands on experience and continued specialized training. Chip took and passed the extensive Special Enrollment Examination from the IRS in 2009. He is earning his accounting degree at Volunteer State Community College. He conducts monthly bookkeeping, quarterly payroll reporting, prepares financial statements, federal and state tax planning and preparation, and tax problem solving, including offers in compromise. He also provides clients with support and training on QuickBooks Accounting software. He is a member of National Society of Accountants and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers. Chip and his wife, Misty, have three children (Desiree?, Abby, and Trey) and live in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Cheri Barner, CPA

Cheri graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She passed the CPA exam in October 2009. Cheri has experience in federal income tax preparation, payroll tax preparation, Quickbooks consulting, and financial statement compliation. Cheri serves on the Ambassador Council of the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. Cheri and her husband, Doug, have three children (Nate, Kendall, and Owen) and live in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Cheri graduated from Dublin High School, Dublin, Texas in 1977 and moved to Tennessee in 1980. She has been with our firm since 1984. She has taken various accounting, business and computer related courses throughout the years and has 26 years of hands-on experience relative to an Accounting Practice. Cheri provides a wide variety of services to our clients, ranging from payroll and bookkeeping services to tax preparation and Quickbooks training and support, in additional to the firm bookkeeping and billing. Cheri and her husband, Brent, have three children (Chris, David and Amanda) and live in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
